Standard Material
Drum Flaker has cylindrical drums, having provision for cooling drum surface.
Drum Dryer consists of drums having steam heating provision.
Rotary Vacuum Drum Filter consists of a cylindrical drum enveloped by a filtered cloth.
Description
In Drum Flaker, one end of the drum is connected to a gearbox, which is driven by a motor. The cooling water is circulated in the drum during operation. The drum operates at a low speed and the fed liquid in the bottom tray is picked by the drum surface and cooled to less than the melting point of the material, thus forming flakes on the surface. It is continuous operation and requires minimal manpower. The entire items are mounted on base frames and Conveyor, Double drum, Machine cover are optional.
The Drum Dryer has steam rotary valves, Gearbox, Drive motor, Bearings and Scraper blade assemblies to scrape material dried on drum surface. The entire items are mounted on base frames and Conveyor, Double drum and Machine cover are optional.

In Rotary Vacuum Drum Filter (RVDF) one end of the drum shaft is connected to the gearbox, which is connected to the motor. The drum is under vacuum during operation and rotates at a slow speed. Agitator in the feed tray, agitates the slurry. The entire items are mounted on base frames and Conveyor and Machine cover are optional.
Process Requirements
Drum Flaker is required for conversion of liquid into flakes, with the objective of using minimum power and forwarding maximum output. The basic need of Drum Dryer is to evaporate water from the slurry fed to this machine while the dried material to be scraped and collected. Rotary vacuum drum filter is required for filtration of high percentage of solids from the slurry.
Advantages
All these three devices are state-of-the-art machines of high quality. They have different purposes and are of the optimum quality to match demands of quality-conscious clients. Some of their advantages are: -
» Low capital investments in installation of these machines.
» Nil manpower requirement, saving precious man hours.
» Continuous process with a single machine.
» Highly economical operational costs.
» User friendly.
